This is an invitation to the Days of Science event for those that are interested to attend :)

What is this event?

This is both a recreational and scientific event consisting of wide variety of educational activities where scientific ideas are conveyed to the general public in a simple and enjoyable way.  A key objective of this event is to improve the interaction between the scientific community and society generally and as a result increasing public awareness about science and science related issues in an atmosphere of fun and entertainment. The goal is to stimulate visitors’ curiosity about scientific ideas, important scientific and technological accomplishments and applications of science in everyday life.  

Organizing Committee

The committee for “reviving the Days of Science- 2008” is organizing this exhibition with the participation of the administration of the City of Genève, the embassy of Switzerland in Beirut and the municipality of Beirut.  

Where/When

The Days of Science event shall take place at the Beirut Hippodrome during  9, 10, and 11 October 2008.
